What You Will Be Doing Design, develop, refactor, and test backend components for Epicor Kinetic, supporting functional areas such as manufacturing and supply chain. Build reliable, maintainable software using C# and the .NET ecosystem. Work with LINQ and Entity Framework to implement business logic and data access. Design and maintain unit and integration tests as part of the development lifecycle. Apply a Shift-Left approach by embedding quality, testing, and automation early in the software development process. Create internal tools, assistants, or AI-enabled solutions that simplify and accelerate repetitive development and business tasks. Integrate existing AI capabilities into software solutions without requiring the development or training of AI models from scratch. Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, and continuous improvement of development practices. What You Likely Bring 5 years of experience developing i n C# and the .NET ecosystem. Hands-on experience with LINQ, Entity Framework, and SQL Server. Proficiency with Microsoft development tools, including Visual Studio and Azure DevOps Experience designing and implementing Unit Tests and Integration Tests. Experience using Postman (or similar tools) for API development and testing. Solid understanding of software architecture, clean code principles, and secure development practices. Demonstrated experience applying Shift-Left methodologies and promoting quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Demonstrable knowledge and practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI), including leveraging AI-powered development tools or integrating AI capabilities into software solutions. Experience with Git and modern version control systems, including branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, and collaborative development workflows. What Could Set You Apart Experience working with SQL Server. Experience with Azure DevOps and software delivery or release pipelines. Experience developing and testing APIs using Postman or similar tools. Experience building internal developer tools, workflow automation, AI assistants, or task-oriented agents. Experience helping teams adopt AI-powered development tools or practical AI solutions. Experience mentoring developers or providing technical guidance and training.
