Sr. Associate, Process Manager - Training Instructional Design We are seeking a teammate to serve as a learning & development specialist. The talented individual who joins this team will work closely with business leaders, product and process owners to consult, design, develop, deliver, manage and analyze learning experiences, as well as building strong relationships with business partners and team members. In this role, you will: Deliver high quality, iconic learning experiences for Capital One associates that can be measured against changes in employees’ performance skill and the business’ performance Consult with line-of-business leaders and learning team members on training needs, solution design recommendations, and delivery expectations Make decisions by identifying issues, diagnosing problems, generating alternative solutions and analyzing opportunities and risks Conduct stakeholder, subject matter expert, and learner interviews Design new hire, upskilling, cross training, soft skills and technical classes in an in-person and virtual setting Develop and maintain e-Learning, blended and instructor-led training deliverables Partner with content developers to support material development needs, as appropriate Have strong project management skills and strong verbal/written communication skills Collaborate with team members on learning and development best practices as a means to ensure superior deliverables on all projects and initiatives Apply a global mindset and approach when developing training Be able to understand group dynamics to engage all learners through strong communication skills and leveraging common adult learning models Represent learning in broader project efforts, ensuring an early focus on the implementation needs to ensure effective delivery in alignment with project timeline goals Manage multiple learning initiatives simultaneously Take responsibility for projects and follow-through to completion with minimal need for direct supervision Our ideal teammate is someone who: Works with new technology and is engaged with L&D tech trends and best practices Works on individual and team projects, owns and solves problems, partnering to design and implement new processes Identifies performance gaps and determines the cause in order to recommend the most appropriate learning solutions Is highly engaged with the team and confident working autonomously Thrives in a high-energy, fast-paced environment Agile and adaptive with the ability to work through ambiguity, prioritizing to move work forward Grounded in data and comfortable using data to uncover opportunities, measure impact and drive decision making, to dig into details and understand the big picture Growth oriented, with the optimistic mindset to continuously learn and improve themselves and the curriculum we offer Basic Qualifications: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification At least 2 years of experience in learning and development At least 1 year of experience in project management At least 1 year of experience developing training content using the Articulate 360 suite of products, Adobe Captivate or Elucidat Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Human Resources, or Instructional Design 1+ year of experience in consulting and coaching 2+ years of experience in project management 2+ years of experience working with contact centers and customers across the globe 2+ years of experience with Google Suite 2+ years of experience with online learning platforms (examples include: Adobe Connect, Zoom) 2+ years of experience working with graphics tools (examples include: Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator) 2+ years of experience with video editing tools (examples include: Adobe Premiere, Camtasia) At this time, Capital One will not sponsor a new applicant for employment authorization, or offer any immigration related support for this position (e.g. H1B, F-1 OPT, F-1 STEM OPT, F-1 CPT, J-1, TN, E-3, and O-1, or any other forms of work authorization that require immigration support from an employer). Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Capital One is willing to pay at the time of this posting. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked. Plano, TX: $80,800 - $92,200 for Sr. Process Manager Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location, and the actual annualized salary amount offered to any candidate at the time of hire will be reflected solely in the candidate’s offer letter. This role is also eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI). Incentives could be discretionary or non discretionary depending on the plan.
