Specialist Software Developer Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Specialist Software Developer to join our dynamic B2B Commerce team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our microservices-based ecommerce platform using Spring Boot and React. This role requires a deep understanding of software development best practices, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a passion for leveraging cutting-edge technologies to drive innovation and efficiency. The Specialist Software Developer will take ownership of features, contribute to architectural decisions, and mentor junior team members. Key Responsibilities: Design and Development: Lead the development and maintenance of scalable and robust microservices using Spring Boot and React. Contribute to the architecture and design of new features and enhancements, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. Leverage generative AI and emerging technologies across the full SDLC to optimize , accelerate, and enhance development outcomes. Collaboration and Integration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate our platform with ERP systems, data warehouses, and other essential applications. Collaborate with product management to refine feature requirements and specifications. Best Practices and Optimization: Implement and advocate for best practices in software development, including code reviews, testing, and continuous integration. Support introduction of AI-based testing frameworks and code review automation. Conduct performance tuning and optimization to ensure high availability and scalability of the platform. Implement security best practices to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with industry standards. Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team knowledge sharing. Minimum Requirements: 5 + years' experience in software development with a focus on Spring Boot and React Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering, Business or a related field Other Qualifications: Experience with Java, Spring Boot, HTML/CSS/JS, RDBMS, REST, GraphQL G it .
