Specialist - AIML Software Development

Role Purpose As Specialist - Software Development at Accelya, you will independently deliver software features and services solutions, building scalable and well-tested systems that support Accelya's 200+ airline customers worldwide. Duties & Responsibilities • Independently design and deliver software features and services solutions, producing clean, well-tested and maintainable code • Use GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI and Claude for AI-assisted development in specialist technical domains to drive development velocity, improve code quality and conduct AI-assisted design reviews • Lead technical analysis and estimation for assigned features and workstreams • Conduct peer code reviews, providing constructive technical feedback • Collaborate with architects and product teams on technical roadmap decisions • Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvement and DevOps best practices • Use generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for technical design documentation and specification drafting Required Experience & Skills • 3–5 years of Software Development experience with a track record of delivering production-quality solutions • Solid proficiency in Java, Python, Go or specialist languages with deep expertise in high-demand airline technology domains • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing and Agile delivery • Good system design skills and understanding of distributed systems • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field Preferred Experience & Skills • Proficiency with GitHub Copilot, AWS CodeWhisperer, Cursor AI and Claude for AI-assisted development in specialist technical domains for AI-assisted development with measurable improvements in velocity and quality • Knowledge of airline technology systems, APIs and how leading platforms like Amadeus, Sabre and FLYR approach similar engineering challenges • Use of generative AI (Claude, ChatGPT) for technical design documentation and architecture decision records • Familiarity with AWS advanced services and how Accelya's AWS partnership enables platform innovation What do we offer? • An open culture with a creative and challenging opportunity to satisfy your intellectual needs • Flexible working hours • Smart working: a hybrid remote/office working environment • Work-life balance • An excellent, dynamic and multicultural environment to work in About Accelya Accelya is a leading global software provider to the airline industry, powering over 200 airlines with an open, modular software platform.
