As a Software Engineer II: AI Inhouse Adoption , you will be part of the Hardware Systems Verification Software team in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. The HSV Software team works with the Palladium emulation platform and Protium prototyping platforms and enables engineering productivity across global development workflows. Job Description: Develop, deploy, and maintain AI-enabled tools, environments, and workflows for Hardware System Verification Software engineering teams. Build internal utilities, automation scripts, and services that make AI capabilities easier to access and use in daily engineering work. Integrate AI solutions with existing engineering infrastructure, development environments, source repositories, internal knowledge sources, and enterprise platforms. Apply LLM and agent concepts to enable assisted workflows such as knowledge retrieval, task automation, tool usage, and workflow orchestration. Design guardrails, access controls, and secure development environments to ensure AI capabilities can be deployed responsibly without exposing proprietary code, data, or engineering knowledge. Requirements: Complete bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of software development experience. Advanced proficiency in Python. Experience developing internal tools, automation, services, or engineering productivity solutions. Understanding of LLM concepts, AI agents, prompt engineering, tool calling, and RAG-based workflows. Familiarity with Unix/Linux environments. Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and support engineering users. Very good spoken and written English and Portuguese. Nice to have: Experience integrating AI tools with CI/CD systems, enterprise platforms, internal knowledge bases, or access-control systems. Familiarity with AI evaluation, benchmarking, model-quality measurement, or metrics-driven product improvement. Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, or AI-based knowledge retrieval systems. Familiarity with orchestration tools such as LangChain, CrewAI, LangGraph, AutoGen, or similar agent frameworks. Experience with other programming languages like C++ or TCL. Knowledge of EDA, VLSI design, design verification, emulation, prototyping, Palladium, or Protium workflows. Additional Job Details : Employment category: CLT Employment term: 40 hours/week.
