We are seeking a Analyst engineer, focusing on the development and enhancement of the Calypso Platform. This role will play a pivotal role in building and maintaining frameworks, tools, and server-side components that support trading, risk management, and post-trade processing for global financial institutions. Roles & Responsibilities – As a Analyst , your focus will be developing and implementing software solutions. Besides working closely with your colleagues in Mumbai, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries. Maintain and extend server-side processes including workflow, persistence, messaging, validation, caching, and business logic. Develop product enhancements using industry-standard technologies. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and critical hot fixes. Create and maintain automated integration and unit tests. Work closely with Product Management to understand and implement requirements. Collaborate with QA and Technical Publications teams to ensure product quality and documentation accuracy. Estimate work effort, identify dependencies, and proactively resolve blockers. We expect you to have: (Minimum Qualifications) Strong Java development experience with expertise in object-oriented design and enterprise application development. Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment, coupled with strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills. Primary Skills: Experience- 1 to 3 years Core Java (Multi-threaded Programming) Object-Oriented Analysis and Design JDBC, SQL, and Oracle Database REST APIs, JMS, Spring Boot Git, Jenkins, Gradle, Jira, and DevOps Tools AI-Assisted Development Skills (writing effective prompt, have exp. Or idea on using AI tools in generating code and unit tests). Debugging and root cause analysis with AI assistance. Soft Skills : Strong Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills Effective Communication and Team Collaboration Education Qualification B.E./B.Tech/BS in Computer Science or related field It would be great if you (Preferred Qualifications) Swing, Angular, or other UI frameworks Experience with Distributed Systems Knowledge of Message-Oriented Middleware Exposure to Capital Markets and Post-Trade Processing.
