Your Team, Your Impact The Central Engineering – AMS Signal Integrity (SI) Team is responsible for establishing and maintaining interconnect Signal Integrity (SI) and Power Integrity (PI) design rules for Marvell's AMS IPs. Day-to-day work includes floorplan and bump assignment studies, Redistribution Layer (RDL) design, interposer and package routing analysis, and PCB layout guidelines to ensure optimal system performance. The team collaborates closely with IP design, physical design, and package/PCB teams across the full product lifecycle by ensuring robust SI/PI solutions at every stage to meet the stringent performance demands of AI, cloud, and hyperscaler data center applications. What You Can Expect Develop Python or similar scripting tools to automate SI/PI simulation workflows and improve team efficiency and throughput Build and maintain automated trace/via design rule models for floorplan, RDL, bump patterns, interposer, and package routing to ensure SI/PI compliance Perform 2D/3D electromagnetic (EM) modeling and simulation using tools such as Ansys 3D Layout or Cadence Sigrity to characterize high-speed interconnects Post-process SI/PI simulation results to extract key metrics, generate summary reports, and support design decision-making What We're Looking For Currently pursuing a master’s degree in electrical engineering, Electromagnetics, or a related field with an expected graduation date between Fall 2027 – Summer 2028 Basic background of Signal Integrity fundamentals, including transmission line theory, electromagnetic (EM), and microwave theory; Understand analog circuit and digital circuit basics; Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or MATLAB for automation and data processing; A team player with strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment Preferred Qualifications (PQ) Experience with SPICE simulation tools for circuit-level signal and power integrity analysis Expected Base Pay Range (CAD) 30 - 41, $ per hour.
