This position is responsible for the accurate and timely handling of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation and inventory control. Responsibilities * Receive, inspect, and document all incoming materials, parts, and products, verifying against purchase orders and packing lists. * Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packaging, labeling, and generating shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, customs forms). * Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently. * Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management systems. * Coordinate with internal departments (e.g., production, sales, procurement) to facilitate timely material movement. * Identify and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages in shipments. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in the shipping and receiving area. * Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, as well as relevant shipping regulations. * Assist with cycle counting and physical inventory processes as required. * Communicate effectively with carriers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders. Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent required. * 1-3 years of experience in a shipping, receiving, or warehouse environment. * Proficiency in operating forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred). * Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., ERP systems) and basic computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite). * Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping. * Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and stand for extended periods. * Excellent organizational and time management skills. * Good communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. * Knowledge of domestic and international shipping regulations a plus.
