Senior Product Designer | Data & AI

As a Senior Product Designer, you will lead significant design initiatives within data products, defining problems, shaping solutions, and raising the quality bar for everything that ships. You will be responsible for ensuring design outcomes reflect real user needs—not just requirements—while partnering closely with Product Management and Engineering as an equal voice. We are seeking applicants with strong design judgment, data literacy, data workflow knowledge, systems thinking, and the ability to influence across functions while mentoring others and advancing design craft. What you will be doing: Lead end-to-end design for major features and product initiatives, from problem definition and research synthesis through interaction design, high‑fidelity execution, and post‑launch iteration Own and elevate design quality for your product area by setting standards, running critiques, and holding a high bar for craft and usability Design for operational complexity, including data‑dense tables, multi‑step workflows, dashboards, role‑based experiences, and configuration-heavy interfaces Partner with Product Management and Engineering in prioritization, scoping, and trade‑off decisions as a trusted, equal collaborator Mentor and support other designers through feedback, pairing, and leading by example in problem framing and presentation Collaborate with design systems partners to adopt shared patterns, contribute components, and ensure consistency across the product portfolio Translate user research and customer feedback into clear design direction and strategic decisions, not just surface‑level UI changes Present work persuasively to cross‑functional stakeholders, articulating the rationale behind decisions and adapting based on feedback What you will likely bring: 5–8 years of product design experience with a portfolio of shipped enterprise or B2B SaaS work demonstrating strong craft and judgment Experience designing dashboards, analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven experiences Proven ability to lead problem definition and shape solutions, not just execute on requirements Mastery‑level interaction design skills across complex, multi‑role workflows, systems, and states Strong proficiency in Figma, including libraries, components, auto‑layout, tokens, and prototyping Experience working within and contributing to a design system, with sound judgment on when to extend versus adapt patterns Active AI fluency within your design practice, using AI tools thoughtfully for ideation, research synthesis, prototyping, and iteration while maintaining a high quality bar A track record of elevating peers through mentorship, critique, and setting quality standards Clear, confident communication skills with the ability to present and defend design decisions to product and engineering leadership What Could Set You Apart: Hands‑on experience using agent‑assisted or AI‑powered development tools to move from design to working prototypes Understanding of how AI agents, workflows, and context‑aware systems shape product experiences Curiosity and a strong point of view on how AI is changing design craft, taste, and discipline A pragmatic, iterative mindset that values learning through shipping and testing ideas quickly Experience designing for manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or retail operations Join us at Epicor, where you’ll lead design work that impacts thousands of businesses every day, on a team with clear career pathways from Senior through Principal and beyond, where AI fluency is expected—and craft still matters more than output. #LI-TO1 #LI-HYBRID About Epicor At Epicor, we’re truly a team.
