The Position Position - Senior Manager - Medical & Scientific Affairs The Opportunity In this role, you will be responsible for planning and implementing Medical Activities that drive scientific engagements for Roche’s Diagnostics India's Cardiology and Neurology diagnostics solutions . You will develop and execute medical strategies, manage scientific requirements throughout the full lifecycle of assigned products, identify clinical opportunities, and ensure that medical activities align with Roche’s long-term strategic priorities. Key Accountabilities The key accountabilities for this position include, but are not limited to: Planning and implementation of Medical Activities including evidence generation strategy for the cardiology and neurology diagnostics solutions. Accountable for defining the medical strategy and its implementation, evidence generation initiatives, in alignment with the organizational priorities. Contribute to overall annual and ongoing medical planning including input on situational analyses and strategy. Build strategic partnerships with healthcare experts in cardiology, neurology and laboratory medicine and other relevant external stakeholders. Drives HCP/KOL engagement initiatives at forums such as Roche initiated medical education programs, scientific congresses, advisory boards, etc. Foster cross-functional collaboration and collaborate with internal stakeholders. Ensure adherence of compliance with the applicable guidelines, company SOPs, local Codes of Practice and regulations. Deliver credible code-compliance medical presentations to HCPs, individually or in groups, either reactively (in response to a medical enquiry) or proactively (to disseminate scientific data best aligned with business needs). Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Drive patient and customer-centricity (mindset, behaviors and actions) by always putting the needs of patients and the customers first. Closely working with commercial, APAC and global teams to identify mutual value and opportunities for collaboration. Who You Are We are looking for a medical professional with a relevant expertise in the Healthcare Industry or a related field. You hold a degree in Medicine (MBBS) and/or MD (Clinical Biochemistry/pharmacology). You built a minimum of 7-10 years of relevant experience in medical affairs and minimum 5-7 years of healthcare industry experience in cardiology and neurology. You built experience in working with clinicians, KOLs and scientist, and have documented records of HCPs education and interactions. You built advanced communication, presentation, lecturing, teaching skills, and able to facilitate high level health stakeholders interaction. You have advanced interpersonal skills, and are able to understand individual needs and motivation. You are organized, proactive, dynamic, and able to achieve goals with minimal to moderate supervision and direction. Who we are A healthier future drives us to innovate.
