We are moving beyond legacy approaches and disconnected solutions to simplify complexity, improve data quality, strengthen global consistency, and deliver measurable value. Trusted workforce data is foundational to this modernization. The Senior Analyst will develop scalable reporting and analytics solutions that help product teams and P&C stakeholders measure performance, make informed decisions, and deliver better employee experiences. This role will strengthen reporting governance and improve access to accurate, secure, and actionable information. About The Role Join Mastercard’s P&C modernization journey and help shape how workforce data informs decisions. You will deliver reporting solutions for strategic initiatives, product enhancements, and operational needs across Core HCM, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. This is more than a report-development role. You will partner with product teams and P&C stakeholders to transform complex needs into advanced Workday reports, dashboards, and analytics experiences. You will also strengthen governance, data quality, and responsible self-service, making workforce information easier to access, understand, and act upon. This role is ideal for someone who is curious, detail-oriented, and energized by complex reporting challenges. You will collaborate across technical and functional teams to create accurate, scalable, secure, and meaningful solutions that support a simpler, more connected employee experience. What You Will Do Workday Reporting and Analytics • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain Workday reporting and analytics solutions supporting P&C modernization, product enhancements, recurring processes, and operational requests. • Build and optimize Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports using calculated fields, complex business-object relationships, and appropriate report logic. • Design, troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain complex calculated fields supporting critical reporting logic and data requirements. • Deliver reports, dashboards, and Discovery Boards across Core HCM, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Time Tracking, and Absence. • Recommend the most effective solution based on business outcomes, audience, data availability, scalability, and security. • Translate complex workforce data into meaningful information for P&C product teams, People Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and business leaders. • Resolve reporting, calculated-field, and data-quality issues with functional and technical partners. Reporting Governance and Operational Delivery • Apply reporting governance, design standards, naming conventions, documentation requirements, security controls, and lifecycle practices. • Maintain report and calculated-field documentation, including ownership, business logic, definitions, and metadata. • Contribute to report and calculated-field inventories, repositories, data dictionaries, and governance materials. • Perform quality assurance, including data validation, peer review, regression testing, and user acceptance testing support. • Review reports and calculated fields for duplication, inconsistent logic, performance concerns, and consolidation or retirement opportunities. • Partner with security and functional teams to ensure appropriate access and alignment with privacy, confidentiality, and governance requirements. • Manage project work through Jira and business-as-usual requests through Workday Help, known internally as AskPS inquiry cases. • Triage, track, and document operational requests while balancing business value, timelines, service expectations, governance, and technical dependencies. Stakeholder Partnership and Product Improvement • Partner with P&C product teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements, define business outcomes, and establish acceptance criteria. • Communicate solution options, status, risks, dependencies, tradeoffs, and recommendations to technical and nontechnical audiences. • Develop reusable, scalable solutions that address common needs and reduce unnecessary or duplicative reports. • Promote responsible self-service reporting through consultation, documentation, guidance, and training. • Support Workday releases and configuration changes by assessing reporting and calculated-field impacts, completing testing, and documenting actions to mitigate downstream impacts. • Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, data quality, efficiency, and stakeholder experience. • Monitor evolving Workday reporting and analytics capabilities and recommend practical adoption opportunities. • Use Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Excel, and PowerPoint, to collaborate, analyze data, document solutions, and communicate outcomes. • Contribute standards, templates, and reusable assets that strengthen trust in P&C data and support modernization. What We Are Looking For • Advanced hands-on experience developing, testing, and maintaining Workday Advanced, Matrix, and Composite reports. • Advanced expertise designing, troubleshooting, optimizing, and documenting complex calculated fields using Workday business objects and related business objects. • Strong understanding of Workday HCM data sources, business objects, data relationships, and reporting security. • Experience delivering reports, dashboards, and advanced analytics across multiple Workday domains, such as Core HCM, Compensation, Learning, Payroll, Time Tracking, or Absence, in a complex global or multi-country environment. • Ability to translate requirements into accurate, scalable, secure, and maintainable reporting solutions. • Experience validating results, reconciling data, investigating discrepancies, and resolving complex reporting and calculated-field issues. • Understanding of reporting governance, documentation, data privacy, confidential employee information, and role-based access. • Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-partnership skills, with close attention to data accuracy and usability. • Ability to work independently, take ownership through resolution, and manage competing project and operational priorities. What Will Set You Apart • Experience with Workday Prism Analytics, Discovery Boards, Worksheets, or Workday People Analytics. • Experience with calculated-field inventories, data dictionaries, metadata, report repositories, or lifecycle management. • Experience supporting cyclical HR reporting processes such as compensation, payroll, learning, workforce planning, time tracking, or absence management. • Experience supporting Workday releases and assessing reporting impacts from product or configuration changes. • Experience enabling responsible self-service reporting through documentation, training, or consultation. • Workday training or certification in Reporting, HCM, Prism Analytics, or a related area. • Experience supporting HR technology modernization, reporting governance, or platform transformation.
