You will develop project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, resources, and quality requirements while coordinating engineers, technicians, and subcontractors. Serving as the primary customer contact, you will provide progress updates, manage expectations, and address project concerns. You will monitor delivery, manage risks and project finances, maintain compliance with safety requirements and industry standards, and prepare project documentation for stakeholders. You will also conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and support continuous improvement. How You’ll Make an Impact Develop and execute project plans covering scope, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation. Coordinate engineers, technicians, and subcontractors to support clear communication and efficient workflows. Serve as the primary customer contact, provide updates, manage expectations, and resolve concerns. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Manage project budgets, track expenses, and meet financial targets. Maintain project quality and compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards. Prepare and present progress reports, stakeholder updates, and final project documentation. Conduct post-project reviews and implement continuous improvement initiatives. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines. Your Background Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Project Management, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of project management experience focused on high voltage power systems, substations, or transmission and distribution networks, including successful delivery of complex technical projects on time and within budget. Knowledge of high voltage equipment, safety standards, and industry practices; PMP or an equivalent project management certification is preferred. Proficiency with project management software, such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6, and standard office applications. Able to manage diverse teams and customer relationships through effective communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and sound project management; ability to travel to project sites as required.
