Job Title Production Lead About your role: As a Production Lead, you will be responsible for coaching, training, assigning, and checking the work of Production Associates . You will oversee shift operations through scheduling and ensure the completion of assigned production projects. What you’ll do: Monitor and evaluate the workflow throughout the department and provide verbal and written work status reports to the supervisor Assign work to associates and follow up to ensure satisfactory completion Stage and prioritize work assignments in advance Operate and monitor equipment to process work according to instructions and/or client expectations, as well as setting up and calibrating equipment per guidelines and/or job specifications Respond to equipment troubleshooting to resolve machine and job-related problems Work with associates in team effort to further company goals concerning productivity, safety, quality, and Continuous Improvement initiatives Experience you’ll need to have: High school diploma or equivalent combination of education, related experience and/or military experience. 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced production environment operating production machinery and performing routine maintenance. Ability to use basic computer systems to enter, review, or track production or quality information. Proven ability to read, write, and communicate in the English language What would be great to have: Experience with warehouse staging and inventory systems (e.g., handheld barcode scanners, basic WMS). Completed safety training such as OSHA-10 or equivalent and demonstrated ability to follow safety procedures. A team player that works well with others but can also work independently How you’ll work: You will work an assigned 1st shift Rotating 7a-7:30p or 2nd Mon-Fri 4p-12:30a Eligible to earn shift differential pay for working 2nd shift Flexibility in schedule to work required overtime that includes weekends and holidays This role requires frequent moving and/or carrying of materials weighing up to 50 pounds. This role requires the ability to stand for a majority of the shift; safely lift and/or carry up to 50 pounds; lift above your shoulders; and climb, squat, kneel, twist, push, and bend frequently during each shift.
