Product Liability & Small Claims Specialist

Position Summary Role PurposeThe Product Liability & Small Claims Specialist is responsible for the end-to-end management of product-liability and small-claims cases handled by the Service Group.The role ensures that each case is managed in a timely, structured and evidence-based manner, including case assessment, evidence collection, preparation and submission of legal documents, representation of SEIL in small-claims proceedings, exposure follow-up and formal closure.The Specialist formulates a professional recommendation for each case based on its specific facts, risks and available evidence. All settlements, financial commitments, exceptions and final decisions remain subject to the applicable approval process. Role and Responsibilities Legal Coordination & Resolution • Prepare factual summaries, timelines, and business recommendations for management and Legal review • Coordinate with Legal on complex, sensitive, or precedent-setting cases • Recommend appropriate resolution approaches based on facts, evidence and exposure • Obtain approvals before implementing settlements or commitments • Coordinate implementation and confirm completion of approved resolutions Case Tracking & Reporting • Maintain accurate case tracker with status, exposure, deadlines and next actions • Provide regular updates to leadership on open cases, hearings and emerging risks • Monitor compliance with timelines; escalate procedural delays and evidence gaps • Identify recurring claim patterns and control gaps; communicate to process owners • Support management reviews with concise, fact-based updates Success Measures • Complete, current case register maintained • Timely legal document preparation and court submissions • Professional court representation • Complete, auditable evidence files • Accurate case recommendations and timely escalations • On-time court deadline and hearing management • Clear case visibility and risk tracking • Reduction of overdue cases through disciplined follow-up Skills and Qualifications Required Competencies • Strong case-management and claims-handling skills • Knowledge of product-liability, small-claims, and dispute processes • Ability to draft persuasive legal documents and represent the company in court • Strong analytical and evidence-management skills with attention to detail • Sound judgment and practical, risk-based decision-making ability • Excellent written and verbal communication • Strong stakeholder management across legal, technical, operational and financial functions • Ability to manage multiple cases, court deadlines and dependencies simultaneously • Professional composure in challenging situations • High integrity, confidentiality and accountability • Clear understanding of approval boundaries and financial controls *Please click below link to view our candidate privacy policy https://www.samsung.com/il/info/candidates-privacy/
