Department Overview PCB Design Engineering team is responsible to design printed circuit boards and flexible circuit boards for MSI. Job Description Standardize and execute advanced PCB and rigid-flex layout designs from schematic capture through tape-out, leveraging top-tier EDA platforms and strict Design for Manufacturing/Assembly (DFM/DFA) frameworks. Partner directly with Hardware, Mechanical, Signal Integrity (SI/PI), and Firmware engineering teams to establish design constraints, maintain routing guidelines, and resolve complex board-level trade-offs. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for vendor partners and contract manufacturers—driving DFM reviews, resolving engineering queries (EQs), and eliminating yield-blocking issues during prototyping and mass production. Basic Requirements Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical), Computer Science, Physics Good understanding of RF and Digital layout requirements. Familiar with layout best practices of signal integrity, EMC, crosstalk Good understanding of board layout fundamentals including stack-up, power/ground planes, impedance control Good understanding of PCB fabrication, PCB technology and material Knowledge of simulation tools, Cadence SKILL language will be added advantage Open minded to design approaches, creative and good interpersonal skill to work with team members Self-motivated and able to work independently Excellent verbal and written communication skills Travel Requirements None Relocation Provided None Position Type New Grad Referral Payment Plan No EEO Statement Motorola Solutions is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
