Responsible for analyzing and optimizing the performance of production operations. Responsible for facility optimization, improving overall manufacturing efficiency, and ensuring high product quality. Develop systems in a diverse range of topics such as scheduling and real-time dispatch, line management, production metrics and reporting, statistical analysis, and project management. Improve safety behaviors and processes in the work environment by analyzing and sharing safety data. Participate in the weekly OI on-call rotation to ensure 24/7 coverage for critical OI-related issues. Perform first-level system support along with additional on-call duties as described in the OI on-call training document. Continuously improve scheduling and automation systems (applications, business rules, heuristics/algorithms, integration) to enable the fab to achieve Line of Sight goals. Continuously enhance manufacturing simulation systems to improve prediction accuracy and enable expanded scenario study capabilities. Work with stakeholders to ensure a balance between global line prioritization and local area optimization. Support and provide technical expertise for line management decision-making (including linearity, cycle time, line yield, wafer starts, and output optimization). Assist with facility optimization and overall manufacturing efficiency. Support manufacturing scenario studies through simulation systems. Provide timely progress updates and identify potential roadblocks. Ensure projects are properly prioritized and that deliverables and timelines align with constraint dates and business needs. Employer will accept Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Business Management, or related field. Position requires: 1. Designing and delivering solutions to software problems 2. Applying agile processes to software development 3. Applying data mining techniques to industrial applications 4. Data mining using relational databases 5. Quantify improvements using applied statistics 6. SQL, C#, Java, or JavaScript. The US base salary range that Micron Technology, Inc. estimates it could pay for this full-time position is $106,413.00 - $160,000.00.
