Manager, Financial Planning and Analysis - Commercial

What Financial Planning & Analysis contributes to Cardinal Health Finance oversees the accounting, tax, financial plans and policies of the organization, establishes and maintains fiscal controls, prepares and interprets financial reports, oversees financial systems and safeguards the organization's assets. Financial Planning & Analysis provides strategic partnership and objective guidance to business units. It leads cross functional efforts to enable forward looking, actionable insights with a focus on driving strategic value that influences key business decisions. Job Summary Finance business partner supporting sales, marketing and strategy. Partner with all three teams to win new customers, retain existing, drive product penetration, improve profitability and achieve business commitments. This role is crucial in driving strategic initiatives, providing data-driven insights, and fostering strong partnerships with leaders & cross-functional teams. Responsibilities Business partnering: o Regional sales VPs - drive financial acumen, articulate key performance insights (vs PY, budget, forecast) and serve as a trusted finance advisor to empower team to make financially informed decisions. o Channel marketing team - support national initiatives to increase sales & profitability, dive into new questions to unlock insights and connect disparate topics to solve problems. o Strategy team - build business cases and perform analysis to support strategic goals. Reporting and analytics: o Build financial reporting to measure initiative performance o Own monthly performance reviews with sales team o Develop and present reports/ dashboards to senior management o Support adhoc requests to test hypotheses o Build, review and support sales team financial incentive plans Reduce barriers: o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal financial outcomes and navigate challenges. Teams outside of core responsibilities - revenue management, product marketing, supply chain and FP&A peers. o Proactively identify / communicate financial risks & opportunities, offering solutions and recommendations to mitigate risks & maximize profitability. Lead / manage team - coach, review and prioritize team’s work Qualifications 6+ years of career experience, preferred, with 2+ years of manger experience, preferred Bachelor's degree in finance or related field, preferred Intermediate/Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Business partnering and strong communication skills Data visualization and querying complex data experience is a plus Anticipated salary range: $106,700 - $152,400 Bonus eligible: Yes Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
