Lead the delivery of a global enterprise learning transformation portfolio, with the replacement of the global Learning Management System as the immediate and primary licence-to-operate programme. Alongside the LMS, you will oversee the delivery of AI-enabled Learning Content Services and the refresh of the wider learning technology ecosystem, ensuring the programmes operate as an integrated portfolio and deliver measurable, sustainable enterprise outcomes. Reporting to the Global Head of Enterprise Learning Services and Solutions, you will lead the portfolio delivery function, integrating plans, resources, investment, risks, dependencies, decisions and benefits. You will direct Programme Managers and the PMO, establish clear delivery standards and priorities, and provide the assurance and executive insight required to keep this complex transformation focused and on course. You will create an environment where governance enables timely decisions, risks surface early and interdependent programmes delivery at a global scale, shaping how learning services and technology evolve across the enterprise. Key Responsibilities: Portfolio strategy, integration and planning: Define and lead the portfolio’s end-to-end delivery approach, integrated master plan, operating model, decision rights and pathways. Translate strategic priorities into sequenced programme outcomes, with the global LMS replacement as the immediate delivery priority, while maintaining momentum across Learning Content Services and the learning ecosystem refresh. Direct Programme Managers and the PMO, align resources and suppliers, and maintain robust baselines, and change control. Global LMS delivery, compliance and operational readiness: Hold portfolio-level accountability for orchestrating and assuring the successful delivery of the global LMS replacement as a critical licence-to-operate programme. Direct integrated delivery across business, IT, Quality, data, suppliers, change and operations, ensuring effective control of validation, migration, deployment and operational readiness. Safeguard compliance, data integrity and service continuity, and enable a controlled transition to live operation and sustained adoption. Content Services and learning ecosystem transformation: Lead and assure the delivery of AI-enabled Learning Content Services and the refresh of the wider learning technology ecosystem. Ensure each programme has clear outcomes, accountable leadership, delivery plans and controls, and that technology, content, data, process and service-design decisions remain aligned across the portfolio. Governance, assurance and systemic risk: Establish and implement proportionate governance, delivery controls, stage gates and escalation thresholds across the portfolio. Oversee risks, issues and cross-programme dependencies' end to end, resolving recurring concerns at source and raising material decisions and trade-offs with evidence-based recommendations. Financial, resource and commercial control: Lead all aspects of portfolio budgets, forecasts, capacity and supplier performance, ensuring investment and resources remain aligned to delivery priorities. Partner with Finance, Procurement and People teams to handle constraints and variances and recommend timely trade-offs across programmes. Performance, executive insight and value: Lead the portfolio performance and benefits framework, providing a forward-looking view of delivery, readiness, compliance, adoption and value. Translate complexity into clear choices for the Global Head of Enterprise Learning Services and Solutions and governance forums, and provide service owners with the evidence required for transition, operational acceptance and benefits realisation. Organisational leadership and delivery capability: Build a high-performing Programme Management and PMO community with clear accountability and consistently applied delivery standards. Strengthen capability through development, organisational design and resourcing, while ensuring effective succession, knowledge transfer and delivery continuity. Requirements: Bachelors degree or equivalent relevant professional experience in programme management, project management, business, technology, learning, HR, organizational change, or a related field. A postgraduate qualification or recognised programme or portfolio management certification is desirable. Senior programme or portfolio leadership experience delivering complex, global, technology-enabled transformation. Hands on experience leading the implementation or replacement of a global LMS, HR platform or comparable business-critical enterprise system, including delivery in a regulated environment. Strong understanding of the delivery controls required for validation, data migration, compliance, operational readiness and transition of a business-critical global platform. Ability to establish integrated portfolio plans, operating models, governance, performance management and execution at enterprise scale. Experience leading a complex, multi-year transformation portfolio from strategy through to delivery, including defining the operating model, integrated master plan, decision rights, and governance. Experience leading Programme Managers and PMO professionals, building organisational capability and delivering outcomes through others. Experience integrating delivery across business, technology, data, Quality, suppliers, change and operations. Executive presence and commercial judgement, with the ability to present evidence-based recommendations and make informed trade-offs.
