Lead Software Engineer (Hybrid)

We’re seeking a Lead Software Engineer to design and deliver software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud and on-premises environments. In this role, you’ll mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and ensure solutions meet quality, functional, and compliance standards. You’ll also leverage modern frameworks, test automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve development while helping lead Agile delivery. Responsibilities: Design and implement software solutions that support financial information processing across cloud-based and on-premises environments. Mentor and guide junior developers, providing oversight to ensure effective task execution and delivery. Analyze business requirements and ensure software solutions meet defined functional and compliance needs. Collaborate with cross-functional development teams to support seamless integration across system components. Maintain software quality and ensure adherence to Broadridge development standards and guidelines. Evaluate and recommend tools and frameworks that enhance software development and test automation capabilities. Leverage AI-enabled tools to improve design, coding, and testing activities. Lead and actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives. Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, or equivalent education and experience 10+ years of software engineering experience, including technical leadership responsibilities. Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and practical use cases for engineering acceleration. Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and REST APIs. Experience with AWS and containerized deployments using Docker. Experience with EKS, ECS, CI/CD, and DevOps practices.. Experience with Kafka and MQ Strong understanding of secure coding practices, relational databases, and DevOps. Knowledge of SQL Compensation Range: The salary range for this position is between $150,000-$170,000 USD. Broadridge considers various factors when evaluating a candidate's final salary including, but not limited to, relevant experience, skills, and education.
