Junior Database Administrator

You will be responsible for ensuring that a database is available as needed and includes database security, database monitoring, troubleshooting, and planning for future growth. Develops and implements business plans, policies and procedures. Performs database maintenance and enhancements. Collaborates with other departments to prioritize database needs. Evaluates results within business unit to determine if organizational objectives are being met. Qualifications Applies a theoretical knowledgebase to work to achieves goals through own work Characterized by specific functional expertise typically gained through formal education May provide guidance to others as a project manager using technical expertise Requires knowledge and experience in own discipline; still acquiring higher-level knowledge and skills Builds knowledge of the company, processes and customers Solves a range of straightforward problems Analyzes possible solutions using standard procedures Receives a moderate level of guidance and direction Functional Knowledge: Requires understanding and application of procedures and concepts within own discipline and basic knowledge of other disciplines Business Expertise: Understands key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience and judgment and precedents Impacts quality of own work and the work of others on the team; works within guidelines and policies Salary Range: 60,000.- 70,000 - USD annual plus benefits Bonus Eligible Please visit www.broadridgebenefits.com for more information on our comprehensive benefit offerings.
