Job Title Internship: Validation of Hair-Cutting Models Job Description Are you the enthusiastic, talented graduate intern we're looking for? Can you turn a raw sensor signal into a reliable engineering measurement? Join the Grooming and Beauty Development team to extend an existing experimental platform with a new sensing technology. You will combine mechanical design, sensor integration, signal processing and data analysis to create a measurement solution that is reliable, repeatable and suitable for engineering decision-making. Your Responsibilities As an intern, you will: · Take ownership of the assignment, including planning, design, experimentation and communication of results. · Develop and evaluate concepts for robust mechanical sensor integration. · Design mechanical components and fixtures for the measurement setup. · Acquire and analyse sensor data under representative conditions. · Investigate noise, variation, repeatability and measurement uncertainty. · Develop algorithms that convert raw sensor signals into meaningful engineering parameters. · Correlate the new measurements with other available measurement sources. · Validate the performance of the integrated measurement system. · Contribute to further mechanical and functional improvements of the experimental platform.
