Caterpillar Inc. is the world’s leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment, off-highway diesel and natural gas engines, industrial gas turbines and diesel-electric locomotives. Base Pay according tariff ranges between 4.633€ - 5.483€ gross per month Instructor Engine Technology As Instructor, you are responsible for providing technical training in mechanical and control and monitoring systems for GCM34 Caterpillar Engines, for EPG and Oil and Gas. What you will do: Provide theoretical and practical training for customers and Caterpillar personnel in accordance with the training guidelines of the Caterpillar Training Center in Kiel. Plan, develop and install new training equipment. Combined Module LCP GVU & Others Develop new training material. Prepare theoretical and practical exercises for training courses Maintenance, repair, and care of the training facilities Work closely with the Commissioning Team, our Engineering, Project Management and Customer Service Comprehensive customer support in Kiel and on-site What you have (Key Skills/Experience Required) Industrial or mechatronic technician Routine in engine works is mandatory Knowledge of the medium speed gas engine (Caterpillar/MaK or comparable engines) Experience in Power Plant related service tasks and maintenance intervals. Experience in troubleshooting engine controls Good understanding of the individual Balance of Plant components and their interrelationships.
