Head of Finance, SH ISC

JOB DESCRIPTION: Job Title :- Head of Finance, SH ISC Division Finance Reports to Finance Manager, EMAK Location Mumbai, India Job Summary :- This is a key role within the Country (India) with the primary responsibility of supporting the Area Financial Controller EMAK and the Country Manager India, in providing business analysis and financial planning and analysis, and support to the Division and Area Management. This position heads the Finance Function for Structural Heart for India & Subcontinent. One of the most important roles for this position is to submit timely, accurate and reliable financial and demand forecasts for SH ISC. The person in the role plays an active part in delivering sound financial advice to the Country Manager to help the business achieve its financial goals. The role also acts as an important function to oversee financial and internal controls for operations within the SH ISC Team. Job Responsibilities on high level • To ensure compliance to Abbott Finance policies and its implementation. • Work proactively as finance business controller to monitor and improve way of spending money/expenses including Capex, provide guideline and monitor team members ability to support business decision with sound analysis of financial benefit. • Manage LBE process, providing guidance to the team in preparation and timely submission of LBEs and LBECs in close coordination with General Manager, Commercial leaders and Marketing team along with APAC Finance team. • Review of CRM Market Model and guide the team in its preparation to ensure it reflects correct market and Abbott data. • Overseeing the month closing process and guide the team to ensure effective management of the processes. • Manage and enhance the various types of monthly/Quarterly reports related to Revenue, Margins, ASPs, product mix Region-wise, territory wise including Dashboard etc. for Leadership and Commercial teams. • Overseeing the P&L of SH ISC business. • Facilitating BU Managers within the purview of Abbott policies and processes in achieving their Goals of Revenue and Operating Profit. • Reviewing the employee incentive calculation on quarterly basis for the Sales team prepared by the team. • Work with the team towards Accounts Receivables Management and increasing the Securitization of Receivables as much as possible. • Ensure smooth and timely completion of various types of Audits like Corporate Audit, Internal Audit by KPMG, Statutory Audit by EY, transfer price Audit by EY with no material observations. • Guiding the team on the Due diligence process for new distributors and 3PP of new distributors and their renewals. • Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott are executed. • Managing the DSO through proper guidance to the team so as to have better cash flow. • Periodic review of Distributor inventory levels. • Closely working with Abbott legal team on various types of agreements and tender requirements. • Guiding the team on Transfer Pricing determination for new products and review for existing products on periodic basis. • Ensure optimal customs duty cost through close coordination with demand planning team by optimization of imports. • Review the product pricing for tenders and Hospitals by analysis from various angles. • Orchestrate cross-functional initiatives, perform leadership, team building skills, and financial expertise in company project, orchestrate necessary engagement from concerned party across functions. • Guide the team on setting up of Maximum Retail Price (MRP) of various products which is the statutory requirement in India. • Tender Management, end to end. Working with the team to ensure that the tenders are executed in timely manner and accurately. • Responsible for Service Team P&L Overseeing and Analyzing detailed Service P&L every month and also region wise providing guidance on areas of improvement and optimization of services cost. • Develop talent to ensure strong finance team and talent pool for finance tasks across the company. • Ensure applicable standard operating procedures of Abbott India are executed. • Work closely with EMAK as well country management teams, and support and lead any ad-hoc projects or needs. • Drive for continuous improvement, facilitate and drive necessary changes to the existing process and analysis, encourage team to generate ideas for trial and error, and commit to implement changes. Qualifications : Qualified CA/CPA/MBA with 12+ years experience in Finance, FP&A, Operations, Accounting, Taxation, Compliance etc The base pay for this position is N/A In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.
