NVIDIA's System Product Team is seeking curious, collaborative, and motivated hardware engineers to take our GPU memory subsystem from first silicon power-on to production. This role sits at the intersection of hardware and software, offering the opportunity to work directly with silicon, board, and firmware teams to shape how NVIDIA products perform from the ground up. What you'll be doing: Planning and performing DDR memory tuning, validation, and feature enablement on NVIDIA products. Reviewing silicon design specifications, component datasheets, board schematics, and layout to inform engineering decisions. Applying knowledge of digital, analog, and computer design to debug and resolve controller, memory, board, and software/firmware level issues across all stages of the product lifecycle. Refining memory bringup and validation strategy by providing feedback and recommendations to silicon, board, and software teams. What we need to see: Recently completed a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of relevant experience, including internships, co-ops, or research projects. Understanding of high-speed signal integrity and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes. Familiarity with schematic capture and board design. Working knowledge of PC systems, Windows OS, and Linux. Strong grasp of EE fundamentals with the ability to break down complex problems using first principles. Familiarity with scripting or programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Python, or Perl. Ability to work effectively across teams and time zones in a collaborative, cross-disciplinary environment. Genuine curiosity about technology and a passion for continuous learning. Ways to stand out from the crowd: Experience as a tutor or teaching assistant in an engineering or technical subject. Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical concepts to cross-functional audiences. Hands-on experience with memory subsystem design or validation. The base salary range is 108,000 USD - 184,000 USD for Level 2, and 136,000 USD - 212,750 USD for Level 3. You will also be eligible for equity and benefits .
