Facilities Technician- Custodian

Shift: Monday- Friday 6:30am-3:00pm What Production Set-up and Maintenance contributes to Cardinal Health Manufacturing is responsible for cost of production and maintenance activities including process improvement, supply chain management, quality assurance, employee safety and engagement, and environmental commitment. Production Setup and Maintenance sets up, aligns, monitors, and/or calibrates production equipment. Assists and may perform maintenance on machines and cleans up minor chemical spills in assigned area as well as glassware, ovens, and other equipment. Job Summary: The Facilities Technician will complete custodial and janitorial job duties within the plant. They will be responsible for overall repair, maintenance, cleaning of the site. This person will have constant communication with and work closely with other Facilities Technicians to complete the required job duties. Responsibilities: Maintain overall cleanliness of facility Duties may include painting floors and walls, plumbing repairs, other facility repair work as needed. Work closely with cleaning crew and facilities technician Qualifications 0-1 years of experience, preferred High School diploma, GED or equivalent, or equivalent work experience, preferred What is expected of you and others at this level Applies basic skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within assigned area Maintains appropriate licenses, training and certifications Works on basic and routine assignments Works within clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures and/or scientific methods Adheres to all quality guidelines Works under close supervision All work is reviewed for accuracy Any deviations from the norm are approved by the supervisor before proceeding Anticipated hourly range: $18.50 per hour - $23.67 per hour Bonus eligible: No Benefits: Cardinal Health offers a wide variety of benefits and programs to support health and well-being.
