As an Experienced Associate in Actuarial at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will engage with clients to provide actuarial and insurance services, offering insights on solvency, economic capital, risk management, and more. Within our Assurance practice, you will contribute to enhancing clients' internal controls and navigating complex regulatory landscapes. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center Kuala Lumpur, you will be part of a dynamic team that supports life, annuity, and health clients through various projects, including financial reporting, capital reporting, and product pricing. You will participate in consulting engagements, perform detailed model validations, and support audits for some of the largest insurers globally. Responsibilities - Engaging with clients to provide actuarial and insurance services, focusing on solvency, economic capital, and risk management - Collaborating with global teams to solve complex business challenges through connected collaboration - Participating in audits of major insurers, including public, private, and mutual insurers, as well as insurance operations of banks and private equity firms - Performing financial reporting, capital reporting, and product pricing consulting projects - Supporting merger and acquisition activities by analyzing underlying products, services, and potential risks - Conducting detailed model validations of reserves and actuarially determined balances across multiple reporting bases - Contributing to process improvement, risk and capital management, and actuarial modeling projects - Demonstrating creative thinking and individual initiative in a wide range of projects - Building and maintaining internal and external networks to enhance client relationships - Developing technical skills and knowledge to deliver quality work and support client engagements What You Must Have - At least a Bachelor's degree in one of the following fields of study: Actuarial Science, Mathematical Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Economics, Other related fields of study - At least 1 year of experience - Oral and written proficiency in English required What Sets You Apart - Demonstrating proficiency in Actuarial Science and Financial Risk Management - Utilizing complex data analysis and statistical modeling techniques - Engaging in financial data mining and strategic forecasting - Applying risk model implementation in actuarial contexts - Excelling in presenting financial reports to diverse audiences - Participating in risk analysis and financial modeling projects - Collaborating effectively within a team-oriented environment Travel Requirements 0% Job Posting End Date
