As an Equipment Maintenance Technician (Dry Etch) , you will support the performance, reliability, and uptime of plasma etch semiconductor manufacturing equipment within a cleanroom environment. This role is critical to maintaining tool availability and consistent processing performance. You will be working directly with etch chambers, vacuum systems, RF power delivery, and many other components while collaborating closely with engineers to troubleshoot, maintain, and improve equipment. Shift : Nights 2, Thurs-Sat and alt Wed, 6pm-6am Key Responsibilities Follow all safety protocols Adhere strictly to cleanroom contamination control and gowning procedures Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective repairs on etch tools and associated subsystems Troubleshoot equipment issues to root cause, including: Pumps, pneumatics, valves, and pressure monitoring systems RF delivery and impedance matching Sensors, heaters, and control components Conduct component-level diagnostics and repair when necessary Use basic statistical process control (SPC) methods to monitor tool performance and identify trends Maintain accurate and detailed maintenance logs and equipment documentation Communicate technical findings, repeat issues, and tool status to engineering and peer teams Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, especially in chemical handling areas Identify and propose equipment or process improvements to enhance tool reliability and performance Support continuous improvement and uptime initiatives within the etch area Minimum Qualifications HS Diploma or GED Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment, including full gowning and face covering Willingness to work around and safely handle chemicals used in various Dry Etch processes A strong attention to detail Preferred Qualifications Currently pursuing or completed an Associate’s (AS) degree Experience supporting or maintaining etch tools or similar semiconductor equipment Exposure to hazardous chemical handling and safety protocols Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or other cleanroom environments For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce - Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State - Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. Actual wage offered may vary depending on work location , experience, education, training, external market data, internal pay equity, or other bona fide factors.
