Position Summary The Business Analyst will serve as a key partner on the Imaging & Content Platforms team, supporting enterprise content management, digital document workflows, ERP-related modernization, and related platform initiatives. This role translates business needs into clear, actionable requirements and helps align business, product, architecture, integration, compliance, operations, and delivery teams. The successful candidate will bring a product owner mindset in addition to strong core business analysis skills. This includes understanding the business outcomes behind requests, helping stakeholders prioritize needs, evaluating options within existing platform capabilities, contributing to backlogs and roadmaps, and balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform health. The ideal candidate has practical experience supporting enterprise content management, workflow, document capture, e-signature, digital fax, or related configurable platforms and can independently drive discovery, requirements definition, process analysis, testing readiness, stakeholder communication, and delivery support. Key Responsibilities · Lead discovery sessions, requirements workshops, process-mapping discussions, and stakeholder interviews across business and technology teams. · Document and manage business, functional, integration, data, reporting, security, compliance, and operational requirements for content and document workflow solutions. · Translate complex processes into clear requirements, user stories, process flows, acceptance criteria, test scenarios, business rules, and implementation-ready documentation. · Clarify desired outcomes, identify underlying business problems, challenge assumptions, and recommend practical solution options rather than only capturing requests. · Partner with platform owners and stakeholders to assess and prioritize enhancements based on business value, strategic alignment, risk, compliance, effort, dependencies, and platform sustainability. · Contribute to product backlogs, release planning, demand management, and platform roadmaps. · Develop working knowledge of assigned platform capabilities, limitations, configurations, integration patterns, and support considerations. · Support ERP-related content initiatives involving document capture, storage, retrieval, metadata, taxonomy, retention, lifecycle management, security, and integration. · Partner with architects, developers, vendors, ERP teams, and integration partners to evaluate options, identify dependencies, and maintain traceability through design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare. · Drive current-state and future-state analysis for processes involving enterprise content management, and related platforms. · Coordinate and support SIT, UAT, regression testing, data validation, cutover readiness, production readiness, stakeholder sign-off, and post-deployment activities. · Identify and communicate risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, decisions, change impacts, and operational considerations. · Help ensure solutions align with enterprise architecture, information security, privacy, records retention, auditability, and support standards. Basic Requirements · Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. · 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, Functional Analyst, or similar role supporting technology delivery. · Practical experience supporting enterprise applications, integrations, APIs, document management, workflow, business process automation, or other configurable platforms. · Experience working with stakeholders to evaluate options, prioritize competing needs, and recommend solutions that balance business outcomes with technical and operational considerations. · Experience supporting UAT, testing coordination, issue tracking, release readiness, or solution validation. · Ability to work independently, manage ambiguity, and communicate effectively with business users, technical teams, vendors, project partners, and leadership. · Strong analytical, facilitation, problem-solving, organizational, and written and verbal communication skills. Preferred Skills and Experience · Hands-on experience supporting, implementing, configuring, administering, or optimizing enterprise content management, imaging, document capture, records management, e-signature, digital fax, or workflow automation platforms. · Experience with Nuxeo ECM, Perceptive Content/ImageNOW, OpenText, DocuSign, RightFax, Hyland Intelligent Document Processing, or comparable technologies. · Experience in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Owner, Platform Owner, Functional Lead, or similar capacity requiring a balance of business demand, platform capability, and operational priorities. · Experience with metadata, taxonomy, document lifecycle management, records retention, security models, workflow configuration, REST APIs, or enterprise integration patterns. · Experience supporting or integrating with SAP, PeopleSoft, Salesforce, JDE, Workday, or similar enterprise systems. · Experience with large-scale deployments, platform integrations, modernization, product lifecycle planning, or business transformation. · Experience in large, matrixed, regulated environments with compliance, privacy, audit, security, information governance, or records management considerations. · Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe, hybrid, or waterfall delivery models and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps. · Experience using Excel, Power BI, or related tools for analysis, reporting, KPI tracking, or decision support. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations.
