Director-Planning & Forecasting

We are looking for a Planning & Forecasting Director to build and lead the Planning & Forecasting Hub team, grow its capabilities, and partner with senior finance stakeholders. In this role you will build a high performing team with global reach. Success in the role requires the ability to lead, think critically, create accountability and influence senior stakeholders. You will be instrumental in leading the team to guide progress to our ambition by generating high quality, efficient, globally aligned forecasts, plans and analysis that give management confidence, support decision making and feed shareholder communication. Key responsibilities · Lead, coach and develop the Planning & Forecasting Hub team. · Motivate, focus, care for and develop your team; role model and sustain a healthy, high performing culture. · Lead the development, alignment, and communication of plan, forecasts, core commercial cycle and management information. · Simplify how we work, drive conformity and improvements globally. · Deliver, embed change and improvements leveraging digital, automation, AI. · Continuously strengthen collaboration and consistency as one global Finance team. · Create healthy accountability across the Hub, ensuring promises are clear and delivered on time and in full. Navigate the cross-functional matrix and build the internal network, working closely with stakeholders, being both a reliable partner and an effective customer of the services you depend on · Partner senior in-market and hub stakeholders to reflect a realistic and ambitious outlook, with potential swings clearly articulated. Provide insightful intelligence on business performance drivers, anticipate risks and propose interventions to meet targets. Challenge the business to produce stretching yet achievable forecasts · Build strong financial modelling skills across the team. · Own the P&F promise to drive financial Plan commitments, ensuring reliability of forecast to support market guidance and smart resource allocation (P&F Standard scope, agreed exceptions and analysis requests) · Build healthy, trustworthy relationships and role model a ONE Finance mindset Basic qualifications / experience · University degree in Finance or Business (or equivalent) · Proven leader, with 18 plus yrs of experience in Finance with capability to build and develop finance teams and strong coaching skills · Ability to connect with and influence business stakeholders · Experience of leading leaders in a global or matrix organization ·Strong skills in modelling, analysis, forecasting, strategic/scenario planning, decision making · Understanding of digital, AI, automation and financial systems and processes #LI-GSK Skills Business Forecasting, Business Reporting Tools, Critical Thinking, Data Storytelling, Digital Fluency, Enterprise Thinking, Finance Strategy, Financial Controlling, Financial Reporting and Analysis, Stakeholder Management Why GSK?
