Title and Summary Director, Finance Business Partner, A&CS Overview • Mastercard Services provides Consulting and Innovation Services, Insights & Analytics, Managed Services and more to customers around the world. These lines of business are supported by both Sales and Delivery organizations. • The Director will be part of the A&CS Global Finance Team and a strategic value added business partner to the A&CS Delivery team. He or she will provide vision, leadership and innovation while reporting and supporting short term and long term business and financial objectives. • The Director will be responsible for developing and managing relationships in a complex matrix organization with business partners at multiple career levels in the organization • Are you motivated to understand the complexity of a business unit and apply your learnings to identify insights, opportunities and risks, and partner with the Group Executive to achieve the business and financial goals? • Have you ever been part of a matrix global organization where your are the financial lead and driving force of the financials? • Do you enjoy mastering complex puzzles, where there are customers across the globe and you are responsible in understanding them and how they impact the P&L? Role • Planning & Analysis o Finance lead for strategic activities such as recommend actions and alternatives to manage P&L, articulate short and long term implications of business decisions, and provide alternatives to assist Group Executive in business decisions o Lead the Delivery annual planning process to ensure proper alignment between revenue targets, expense funding and business objectives o Lead the consolidation and review of the Delivery forecast for revenue and expense, providing a holistic and global assessment into risks and opportunities o Provide support in the on-going review of product margins, business margins, billable utilization and financial targets o Oversee, manage, and track product and opportunity forecasting process to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data contained within financial systems. o Extensive cross functional and regional interaction with regional finance, CFO, region leads, Worldwide Finance and Services Finance o Responsible for the accuracy of the Hyperion forecast uploads; ensuring regional/market splits, P&L line items and monthly cadence • Reporting o Develop and create standardized monthly KPIs and financial reporting of D&S Delivery performance to Group Executive and functional area leads. o Understand and provide thoughtful business commentary to P&L performance vs. budget, forecast and prior year; linking opportunities and risks to the full year financial and business goals o Prepare Delivery monthly business review and scorecard for in depth review of monthly results, risks and opportunities, and strategic updates to the executives. • Ad-Hoc Support All About You • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred • Demonstrated thought leadership and takes initiative to improve the existing structure and processes • Advanced analytical and financial skills, with the ability to develop financial models and analyze/identify issues and build business plans • Experienced in forecasting/budgeting and monitoring current results while identifying opportunities and risks to the full year financial and business goals • Strong interpersonal, relationship management and communication skills (both verbal and written) • Excels in a self-directed work environment, often deadline driven • Proven ability to communicate with all levels of management • Advanced PC skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Hyperion, Enterprise Reporting, Order Management, PSA, Salesforce.com and Oracle Financials Mastercard is a merit-based, inclusive, equal opportunity employer that considers applicants without regard to gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, race, ethnicity, disabled or veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law. In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
