Job Description Tax Support: Assist with the preparation and filing of tax returns (e.g., VAT, GST, sales/use tax, income tax). Collect and verify supporting documentation for tax filings. Maintain accurate and organized tax records and documentation for audits. Assist in tax reconciliations (e.g., reconciling tax accounts to the general ledger). Monitor tax payment deadlines and help ensure timely payments to avoid penalties. Support responding to tax authorities during audits, assessments, or inquiries. 🔹 2. Treasury Support: Assist with daily cash management activities such as monitoring cash positions, bank balances, and fund transfers. Prepare and maintain cash flow reports and forecasts. Support the execution and tracking of intercompany funding and loan agreements. Help in managing bank accounts, including account openings, closures, and KYC documentation. Coordinate with banks for payment processing issues, bank statements, and other service requests. Support in treasury accounting and reconciliation of treasury-related entries. 🔹 3. Compliance & Controls: Ensure all tax and treasury processes comply with internal controls and SOX requirements (if applicable). Assist in preparing documentation for internal or external audits. Adhere to regulatory and internal policy requirements for financial transactions. 🔹 4. Reporting & Documentation: Prepare periodic tax and treasury reports for internal stakeholders. Assist in preparing management reports related to tax liabilities, cash flow, and treasury positions. Maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for all assigned processes. 🔹 5. Stakeholder Coordination: Work with internal teams (Finance, Accounts Payable, Legal, etc.) to gather information for tax and treasury tasks.
