Facility Manager (Technical) Work Dynamics What this job involves: Monitoring of all maintenance and related monitoring activities Plan for preventive maintenance of all installed equipment and ensure closure through concerned vendors. Plan for adequate stock of spares at site for all critical equipment. Support event management related activities in terms of engineering support Coordination with Property Management team on technical matters to ensure smooth operations in client facility. Implement and monitor the energy conversation initiatives. Support the facility manager/ chief engineer in preparing the management reports. Review of trend analysis to identify areas of service improvement. Assist performance assessment of technical vendors. Conduct training for the technical team. Coordinate with landlord for technical matters. Validate PM and breakdown service reports. Maintain updated vendor escalation matrix Provide assistance for Technical Audits for all installations at periodical intervals To provide operational and administrative support to the Facility Management team assigned. Use initiative and creativity in performance of IFM operations duties and assist the team in implementing more efficient work practise. Administer Standard Operating Procedure for all Technical service areas working with the site Assistant Manager. To provide timely reports to the Facility Management. Provide support to the AFM and executives to ensure critical operational items are attended to within agreed time frames To provide relief support to the F&A site teams as needed, including but not limited to the positions of Client Interface Administrator, Facilities Administrator, Facilities Officer, etc. To assist with the site audits & floor walks to be undertaken on entire Client site Assisting in tabulating site defects and snags leading from the audits & floor walks and assisting with the setting of deadlines for the defects to be rectified Ensure timely training & reporting thereafter for M&E staff etc Full responsibility of the site during the entire shift Filing of site related documents and service reports Sound like you? To apply you need to be: Ideal Experience Min. years of experience 4 to 5 years in facilities, property management in the technical field Experience of working in corporate environment Knowledge of local health and occupational safety requirements Knowledge of critical facilities equipment and their operations and maintenance Knowledge of vendor management for specialized services A thorough understanding of basic technical aspects of property (Computer Room Air-conditioning, Chiller system, Fire Protection system, Mechanical & Electrical system, BMS system) Strong technical background and skills Critical Competencies for Success Client Focus & Relationship Management Ease of interaction with a wide range and wide level of client staff B. Tech from reputed institute with specialization in Electrical / Mechanical engineering Other Personal Characteristics Demonstrated superior people management skills – ability to lead team effectively, train them well, and promote open, constructive and collaborative relationships at all levels Strong communicator – Good presentation skills and possesses strong verbal & written communication skills (English & local language); also an active listener Passion for quality – has an eye for detail to make sure the best delivery of services Self-motivated; confident & energetic Ability to effectively deal with stressful situations Flexible – able to adapt to rapidly changing situations Strongly goal-oriented – able to focus on meeting all performance targets Is a team player – able to cooperate and work well with others to meet targets Proven ability to initiate and follow through with improvement initiatives Exhibits honesty & trustworthiness Open to new ideas & willing to challenge status quo What you can expect from us You’ll join an entrepreneurial, inclusive culture.
