ASIC Senior Engineering Technician

Job Responsibilities Support operation, setup, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of ATE systems, wafer probers, handlers, and associated lab equipment. Perform preventive maintenance (PM), qualification, repair, and hardware verification activities to ensure equipment availability and reliability. Support test hardware installation and validation, including load boards, probe cards, sockets, interface boards, and related accessories. Diagnose equipment, electrical, mechanical, thermal, and communication issues impacting engineering and qualification activities. Support ASIC silicon bring-up, characterization, debug, NPI, engineering builds, and qualification testing. Execute HTOL/ELFR readout activities and support reliability qualification testing. Coordinate equipment repairs, spare parts management, vendor support, and preventative maintenance schedules. Maintain equipment records, calibration status, operating procedures, and engineering documentation. Support lab safety, ESD compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Minimum Qualifications Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience. 5+ years of semiconductor ATE, wafer probing, handler, or equipment engineering experience. Hands-on experience with Teradyne UltraFLEX, Advantest V93K, wafer probers, handlers, or similar semiconductor test equipment. Strong troubleshooting skills in equipment, hardware, and test interfaces. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced engineering environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience with ASIC product development, silicon debug, characterization, or qualification activities.
