Job Description Apprentice Associate III - Underwriting Process -Underwriting support through virtual inspections, property risk assessment, hazard identification, Insurance-to-Value (ITV) analysis, replacement cost evaluation, underwriting verification, policy compliance review, and underwriting decision support within P&C insurance operations Job Description: Apprentice Associate III – RMBC Underwriting Operations Job Title: Apprentice Associate III Function: RMBC Underwriting Operations Location: Pune Duration: 6-Month Apprenticeship Program Reporting To: Team Leader Role Summary The Apprentice Associate III will support underwriting operations by performing policy servicing, risk review support, data validation, and process-oriented underwriting activities. The role offers an opportunity to gain foundational knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance while working in a fast-paced operational environment. Key Responsibilities Support underwriting operational processes and related transactions. Review and validate customer, policy, and risk information for accuracy and completeness. Perform data entry, documentation review, and policy-related support activities. Follow established underwriting guidelines, standard operating procedures, and compliance requirements. Maintain productivity, quality, and turnaround time standards. Identify discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately. Collaborate effectively with team members, trainers, and leaders to resolve operational queries. Participate in training and capability-building activities to enhance business and insurance knowledge. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process efficiency efforts. Desired Skills & Qualifications Educational Qualification Graduate ( Non Technical) Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of experience are welcome to apply. Skills Required Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly. Basic proficiency in MS Office applications. Ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Preferred Competencies Interest in Insurance, Underwriting, Risk Assessment, or Financial Services. Ability to interpret and evaluate information against defined guidelines. Customer-focused mindset.
