Your Team, Your Impact Central Engineering – Optical PHY (CE-AMS-OPHY) team designs high-speed and optical transceivers for communication infrastructure in long-haul, metro, datacenter and AI cluster. As a member of a dynamic CE-AMS-OPHY team, the candidate will be responsible for designing circuits used for high-speed optical transceivers. The member will have an opportunity to work in most advanced process and collaborate with the team on next-gen high-speed optical transceivers. What You Can Expect As an Analog/Mixed-Signal IC Design Intern, you will play a critical role in the development of advanced CMOS transceiver and SERDES products. Your responsibilities will include: Interpreting and understanding circuit specifications and system-level requirements. Helping on design and implementation of high-performance analog and mixed-signal circuits, including PLLs, DLLs, ADCs, voltage regulators, amplifiers, transmitters (TX), receivers (RX) circuits. Performing detailed circuit-level simulations and design verification using industry-standard EDA tools to ensure functionality, performance, and robustness. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams—including digital design, layout, and validation—to ensure seamless integration and successful tape-out. Participating in design reviews, maintaining thorough documentation, and contributing to the continuous improvement of design methodologies and flows. What We're Looking For BEng/MSc student in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or equivalent Understanding of analog circuit fundamental and semiconductor device physics Highly motivated, self-driven, curious, and hungry-to-learn Strong knowledge on IC design CAD tools such as Spectre, Spice, Matlab, Python, etc. Strong team-player with solid communication skills
