Job Title Account Manager - Medical Imaging NZ Job Description Philips is a leading global healthcare company aiming to improve the lives of 3 billion people by 2030. Your Opportunity An opportunity has recently become available for an experienced Account Manager to join our high performing Medical Imaging sales team in New Zealand. Based in Auckland and covering the Upper North Island, you will be reporting to the NZ Country Manager. You will be instrumental in developing and managing numerous business strategies to achieve profitable business relationships across our entire Imaging Systems portfolio, consisting of market leading medical imaging technology and solutions (MRI, CT, X-Ray and Angiography). Your extensive Capital Equipment / Medical Device sales experience coupled with your ability to influence at all levels within public and private groups & hospital networks will be key to your success in the role. Every day will offer new and exciting challenges, selling some of the Healthcare Industry's most innovative medical Equipment. You will be required to build high level business relationships both internally and externally constantly being aware of current and future market trends with respect to customer and overall industry and execute a planned approach to maximizing sales volumes and margins. This will include a broad understanding of Philips products, negotiating sales and terms, submitting tenders and maintaining an accurate and relevant sales funnel for all sales leads within the territory. You will also have overall responsibility for the coordination of, product demonstrations, efficient product delivery and ongoing clinical and technical support. Your Team You will be working as part of a highly experienced team of Account Managers, all with a shared goal of delivering top quality service to customers. More broadly, you will be part of the Philips Healthcare team and have daily interactions with stakeholders from across the business such as Clinical Applications Specialists, Engineers and Product Managers. About You 3 years + Experience in Capital Equipment / Medical Device solution selling, within a public & private setting. Bachelor's Degree in Medical Imaging or equivalent within Radiology, or strong Clinical experience is highly desirable High level of presentation & communication skills Strategic business acumen with a customer driven focus Highly motivated & strong negotiation skills Solid understanding of the sales processes with the ability to protect and grow market share Experience in analysing and manipulating complex data and building territory plans. Exceptional interpersonal and cross functional stakeholder experience with the ability to influence at all levels within business. The ability to work under pressure, dealing with conflicting priorities. About Philips We are a health technology company.
