We have multiple openings for a 3rd Shift Assembly Production Manager at our Sanford facility. In this role, you will lead a team in improving processes and systems and the manufacturing of the products produced in the facility. You will oversee and coordinate the activities of a complex production line, prepares schedules, resolves issues, and ensures adherence to safety and quality standards. What you can look forward to doing in this role: · Monitors and improves shop floor safety, aggressively eliminates unsafe processes · Assures fixtures, tooling and processes are followed to meet production schedules · Determines priorities and sequences jobs · Schedules and prioritizes constrained resources, and adjusts staffing to meet flow and customer requirements · Determines and executes disciplinary action when appropriate · Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules · Procures and distributes production material to meet schedules · Ensures preventive maintenance is performed according to schedule · Implements, Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Internal Certification and others · Evaluates, assess, identifies and leads the deployment of workforce training · Section Value Stream Mapping A successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills and have: · Performance Management: Knowledge of successful performance management techniques; ability to apply organization's performance management system, practices, and tools to developing and improving individual, team, and organizational performance. · Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way. · Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors. · Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations. Additional Information: · The primary location for this position is Sanford, NC. · This 3rd Shift will be Monday-Thursday 7:30PM- 530AM. · There is an 8% Shift Premium for 3rd Shift roles. · The first weeks of training will be on 1st Shift from 600AM-400PM · Domestic relocation assistance is not available · Sponsorship is not available Summary Pay Range: $89,210.00 - $133,810.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
