Technical Product Manager

About Xeliport Xeliport is building the AI-native operating system for cross-border expansion. We help consumer brands launch and scale in new countries by bringing incorporation, compliance, logistics, warehousing, payments, and marketplace operations into a single platform. We're an early-stage startup building from zero, and product here isn't a support function, it's core to whether Xeliport works at all. The Opportunity We're hiring our first dedicated Technical Product Manager. This is a founding-team role in every practical sense: you'll work directly with the founders and our founding engineer to decide what gets built next and why, across our six operational layers (Compliance, Shipping, 3PL & Warehouse, Marketplace, Retail & B2B, Forex & Banking). We're looking for someone junior in years but not in ambition: hungry to learn the entire business fast, and genuinely aiming to run product at Xeliport one day. If you do this well, there's a real path from this seat to Head of Product to CPO as we scale, not a hypothetical one. We also want our product and engineering craft to be as tight and considered as the best in the world runs theirs, think Shopify's bar for product quality and internal tooling, not "startup MVP good enough." You'll be one of the people who sets that bar. What You'll Do - Own specs end-to-end: talk to operators, brands, and the founders to figure out what actually needs to get built, then write it down clearly enough that engineering can just build it. - Prioritize ruthlessly across Compliance, Shipping, 3PL & Warehouse, Marketplace, Retail & B2B, and Forex & Banking, we have far more to build than time to build it. - Get into the data. Query our database directly, read the schema, understand what's actually happening in production before making a call. - Sit close enough to engineering to review PRs, understand architecture tradeoffs, and push back on shortcuts that hurt product quality. - Talk to real operators and brands to find out what's broken before it shows up as a support ticket. - Build the muscle to eventually own the roadmap and product strategy outright. What We're Looking For - 0-2 years of experience, early in your career, but you've shipped something (a product, a side project, a feature) that shows you think in systems, not just tasks. - Technical enough to read code and a data model and have real opinions about them. You don't need to ship production code, but you should be comfortable in a codebase. - Obsessed with product craft: you can point to a product whose quality you admire and explain exactly why it works. - Hungry and ambitious: you're looking for a launchpad to run product, not a two-year resume line. - Comfortable with ambiguity. There's no playbook here, we're writing it as we go. Nice to Have - Exposure to Next.js, Supabase, or Sanity, or the willingness to get hands-on with our stack fast. - Experience with, or obsessive interest in, high-craft consumer or B2B SaaS products (Shopify-caliber design and engineering bar). - Some understanding of cross-border trade, logistics, or compliance. We can teach this, but curiosity about it is a plus.
