Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators have raised over **$125M to date investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel and enjoy multi-year runway.** **_About the Role_** Sprinter Health is looking for a **Software Engineer to join our Partner Engineering team**, building the technology that allows us to launch and scale healthcare programs with some of the largest health plans and healthcare organizations in the country. You’ll work at the intersection of engineering, product, and operations—turning complex partner requirements into scalable platform capabilities that expand how and where Sprinter can deliver care. This is a highly ownership-driven role: you’ll lead projects end to end, from designing integrations and backend systems to launching new programs across states and patient populations. As Sprinter continues to scale nationally, you’ll help build the technical foundation that makes each new partnership faster to launch, easier to operate, and more scalable than the last. **_Office Location: _** We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed. **What you will do:** - Build and own backend and full-stack systems that power partner integrations and patient access - Architect features that enable multi-state rollouts, new clinical programs, and scalable delivery models - Turn bespoke partner requests into reusable platform capabilities - Collaborate with product, data, ops, and clinical teams to launch high-impact solutions - Lead projects end to end — from scoping and design through implementation and rollout - Shape the technical direction of Partner Engineering as we scale nationally **What have you done:** - Spent 2+ years building backend or full-stack systems in production - Led projects or small pods from architecture through delivery - Worked with external partners, APIs, or integrations to ship real features - Built in fast-growing or startup environments where ambiguity and speed are normal - Collaborated closely with product, ops, or data teams to solve real-world problems - Mentored other engineers through code reviews, guidance, or technical leadership **What gives you an edge:** - You’ve worked in health tech, logistics, or other integration-heavy environments - You’ve scaled backend systems to support rapid growth and operational complexity - You’ve built or owned partner-facing APIs, data flows, or onboarding integrations - You’re comfortable designing for privacy, compliance, or regulated industries - You’ve operated in Series A–C startups where scope, speed, and ownership were high **The Interview Process** - **We aim to complete the interview process between 2-3 weeks.
