About the Role We are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to design, develop, and support cloud-native solutions. Candidate should have hands-on experience building scalable, secure, and highly available applications on GCP while partnering closely with engineering, product, and platform teams. Key Responsibilities * Design, develop, and maintain cloud-native applications and services on GCP. * Build and manage infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform preferred). * Develop and support CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation. * Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, scalability, reliability, and cost. * Implement security best practices, IAM, networking, and monitoring. * Troubleshoot production issues and drive root cause analysis. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define cloud architecture and technical solutions. * Mentor junior engineers and participate in design and code reviews. Required Skills * 6+ years of software engineering experience with 3+ years of hands-on GCP experience. * Strong knowledge of GCP services such as: * Cloud Run * GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine) * Compute Engine * Cloud Functions * Cloud Storage * BigQuery * Pub/Sub * Cloud SQL / Spanner Additional Skills * IAM and VPC * Strong experience with Kubernetes and Docker. * Experience with Terraform or similar IaC tools. * Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build, etc.). * Strong programming skills in Java, Python. * Experience with monitoring tools such as Cloud Monitoring, Logging, Prometheus, or Grafana. * Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
