Fullstack AI Developer

**About Vaia** Vaia is a tech-enabled sustainability and investment advisory firm building AI-native products at the intersection of ESG, private markets, and intelligent automation. We are a small, fast-moving team building technology for real-world use. **About the Role** We're looking for a Full Stack AI Engineer with 4–5 years of experience to own and ship features across frontend, backend, AI, and infrastructure. You'll build scalable applications, work with LLMs and AI systems, and take ownership from development to production. **What You'll Do** * Build and ship full-stack features using modern frontend and backend technologies. * Integrate LLMs, AI APIs, RAG pipelines, and agentic workflows into production products. * Design APIs, databases, backend services, and scalable cloud deployments. * Build and maintain reliable CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and cloud infrastructure. * Ensure applications follow strong security, authentication, access control, and data protection practices. * Own features end-to-end, from development and deployment to monitoring and iteration. **What You Bring** * 4–5 years of professional software engineering experience. * Strong experience with Python, FastAPI, Next.js, TypeScript, and PostgreSQL. * Hands-on experience building production applications with LLMs, RAG, vector databases, or AI agents. * Familiarity with AWS, Docker, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and DevOps practices. * A strong understanding of application security, authentication, and secure deployment practices. * Strong ownership, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently. **Nice to Have** Experience with AI evaluation, workflow automation, multi-agent systems, observability, or infrastructure and security best practices. **What We Offer** Competitive compensation, meaningful ownership, direct exposure to leadership, and the opportunity to build and ship cutting-edge AI products in a fast-moving environment.
