Founding Frontend Engineer

Earthinia is building an enterprise AI workforce platform that enables businesses to create and operate AI-powered teams composed of specialized roles, tools, knowledge, permissions, integrations, and communication channels. We are looking for a **Founding Frontend Engineer — UI/UX & Product Design** to join Earthinia at an early stage and take significant ownership of the customer-facing product experience. You will work directly with the founder, Software Engineer, and Agentic AI Engineer to design and build the Earthinia Console and other customer-facing interfaces. This role combines **frontend engineering, product design, and UI/UX thinking**. You will be responsible for turning complex AI infrastructure into an interface that business users can understand and operate without needing to understand the underlying technical architecture. **What You Will Own** * Design and build the Earthinia Console. * Own frontend architecture using React and TypeScript. * Develop reusable, accessible, responsive UI components. * Design intuitive user experiences for complex AI workflows. * Build and maintain Earthinia's design system. * Translate product requirements into wireframes, prototypes, interfaces, and production code. * Design user flows for onboarding, account setup, cluster creation, instance configuration, tools, permissions, knowledge, integrations, channels, billing, and execution. * Build interfaces for creating and managing AI-powered business teams. * Design cluster and instance configuration experiences. * Build tool and permission management interfaces. * Design knowledge upload and management experiences. * Build channel and external integration setup workflows. * Create API key and developer configuration interfaces. * Build AI chat and execution interfaces. * Implement streaming AI responses and real-time execution updates. * Design execution-history and activity interfaces. * Build usage, billing, credits, and subscription dashboards. * Create account settings and security interfaces. * Design responsive experiences for desktop, tablet, and mobile devices. * Improve accessibility and keyboard usability. * Optimize frontend performance and loading behavior. * Implement frontend authentication and session experiences. * Integrate frontend applications with Earthinia's FastAPI backend. * Work with WebSockets and real-time platform events. * Design clear loading, empty, success, warning, and error states. * Conduct usability testing and improve flows based on customer feedback. * Help define Earthinia's visual identity across the product. * Maintain consistent typography, spacing, interaction patterns, components, and information hierarchy. * Document frontend architecture and design standards. * Help establish professional frontend engineering and product-design practices as the company grows. **The Main Product Challenge** Earthinia contains sophisticated concepts such as: * Accounts * Clusters * Instances * AI models * Tools * Permissions * Knowledge * Integrations * Channels * API keys * Executions * Usage * Billing * Agent collaboration Customers should not need to understand all of the underlying engineering to use the platform. Your responsibility is to make these capabilities understandable. Create an Earthinia account. 2. Create a business cluster. 3. Add specialized instances such as Sales, Marketing, Finance, or Customer Support. 4. Configure their permitted tools. 5. Connect business applications. 6. Upload company knowledge. 7. Configure permissions. 8. Send a request to the cluster. 9. Watch Earthinia coordinate the appropriate instances. 10. Review results and execution history. We prefer thoughtful simplicity over unnecessary visual complexity. **Early-Stage Environment** Earthinia is an early-stage company. This role provides substantial influence over the visual and product direction of the company. You will not simply receive finished Figma designs and convert them into code. You will participate in deciding: * How features should work. * How customers should interact with them. * What information should be displayed. * How complex concepts should be simplified. * How the Earthinia design system should evolve. * How customer feedback should influence the product. This is a hands-on founding-level position. **Compensation** This position is currently equity-only. There is no cash salary at the current stage. Expected equity range: 1%–3% The final grant will depend on: * Frontend engineering experience * UI/UX and product-design ability * Full-time commitment * Level of ownership * Product contribution * Long-term commitment * Ability to independently own the Earthinia product experience An exceptional candidate capable of owning both frontend engineering and product design may receive equity toward the upper end of the range. **Expected Vesting** * 4-year vesting schedule * 1-year cliff * Monthly vesting thereafter The final equity grant will be formally documented through appropriate company agreements once legally available and will remain subject to incorporation, definitive agreements, and required corporate approvals. Earthinia intends to introduce competitive cash compensation as financing or recurring revenue allows. Future salary, revenue, or fundraising should not be considered guaranteed compensation when accepting this position.
