Backend Engineer (Python) – Paid Internship 2 Month leading to Full-Time

**Role Overview:** We are looking for a motivated Backend Engineer with strong Python programming skills to join our team. This role starts with a 2-month paid internship, leading to full-time employment based on performance. As a backend engineer, you will collaborate with our AI-ML, data, and mobile teams to develop APIs, handle data pipelines, and build scalable backend systems. **Key Responsibilities:** * Assist in designing, developing, and maintaining backend services for EveoAI’s AI-driven fashion recommendation system. * Develop RESTful APIs and ensure seamless data communication between various systems. * Work with databases (SQL/NoSQL) to handle data storage and retrieval efficiently. * Collaborate with cloud engineers to deploy services on AWS/Azure platforms. * Contribute to building real-time recommendation and data processing systems. * Work with the mobile app team to ensure smooth backend integration. * Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging. * Ensure backend security, scalability, and performance optimization. **Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. * 1+ years of experience in backend development, particularly in Python. * Hands-on experience with Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI. * Familiarity with RESTful API development and database management (SQL/NoSQL). * Basic understanding of cloud services (AWS, Azure) and containerization tools (Docker/Kubernetes). * Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. **Preferred Skills:** * Prior experience in fashion, e-commerce, or AI-driven applications. * Knowledge of AI/ML-based systems and cloud AI services. * Familiarity with startup environments and working in agile teams. **Benefits:** * 2-month paid internship followed by full-time employment based on performance. * Competitive compensation package and ESOP opportunities after the internship. * Accommodation provided for onsite candidates. * Work in an innovative startup environment with ample learning and growth opportunities.
