Compliance & Statutory Filing : Apply local tax rules, labor laws, and file periodic returns (such as PF, PT, and TDS in India). System Advisory & Implementation : Configure, test, and optimize payroll software platforms like SAP, Workday, or Dayforce. Audit & Reconciliation : Reconcile payroll accounts with general ledgers and resolve payment errors or discrepancies. Stakeholder Support : Answer employee and client queries regarding paychecks, taxes, and benefits Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Human Resources, or a related field. Experience : 3 to 5+ years of hands-on payroll processing, management, or system implementation experience. Technical Proficiency : Advanced skills in Excel and specialized payroll/HRIS software (e.g., SAP, Workday, ADP). Knowledge : Strong grasp of statutory compliances, tax withholdings, and compensation structures. Soft Skills : High attention to detail, strong analytical thinking, and clear communication.
