Are you studying marketing, communications or business and looking for a student job where you can build hands-on marketing experience and see how it all comes together in practice?

We’re looking for a structured and proactive Marketing Student Assistant to join our Brand & Marketing team at Copenhagen Optimization.

You’ll work alongside our Head of Marketing, Growth Marketing Manager and Content Strategist, helping us turn plans into action across digital, events, content and campaigns. It’s a hands-on role with plenty of variety and room to take on more responsibility as you grow.

• Website & digital: Update and maintain website content, event and campaign pages, and help keep everything accurate and up to date.

• Events: Support conferences and events around the world — from registrations and exhibitor portals to materials, print orders, attendee lists and deadlines.

• Content & campaigns: Support campaign execution by preparing content assets, landing pages, lists and other campaign elements.

• Marketing coordination: Keep calendars, project pages, assets and plans organized, coordinate smaller deliverables and follow-ups, and help make sure the practical details don't fall between the cracks.

• Creative support: Help adapt or create simple marketing materials and visuals. Experience with Canva, Figma or similar tools is a plus.

You are studying marketing, communications, business or a related field, ideally with at least one or two years of your studies remaining.

You like creating structure, following things through and seeing a task go from idea to done. You’re dependable, attentive to detail and comfortable taking initiative. We don’t expect you to know everything from day one — what matters is that you’re curious, eager to learn and interested in how marketing works in practice.

You:

• Communicate confidently in English, both written and spoken.

• Work in a structured way and keep track of tasks and deadlines.

• Take initiative and care about the quality of what you deliver.

• Are comfortable working with digital tools. We use HubSpot, Notion, Dropbox and LinkedIn, but you don't need to know them all already.

• Are interested in marketing and keen to learn across different disciplines.

Copenhagen Optimization is the company behind Better Airport, our software platform built for intelligent airport operations.

We work with airports around the world to connect planning, resource management, staffing and day-of operations, enabling them to make better operational decisions every day.

Founded in Copenhagen in 2014, we have offices in Copenhagen and Boston and customers across Europe, North America, Asia-Pacific and beyond.

Approximately 15–20 hours per week, with flexibility around your studies, exams and personal life. You’ll join a small marketing team, work closely with experienced colleagues across the business and gain hands-on experience in international B2B marketing.

We’re looking for someone who wants to stay with us for the longer term, become part of the team and gradually take on more responsibility.
