Vice President – Tax Reporting & Transformation Manager

You will serve as a senior technical expert across U.S. tax withholding and information reporting requirements and relevant global tax reporting regimes. You will partner across stakeholders to strengthen end-to-end processes and controls. You will also help modernize reporting through intelligent automation and analytics. As a Vice President Tax Reporting Manager – AI & Intelligent Automation in the Tax Reporting team, you will lead the delivery of accurate, timely, and audit-ready tax withholding and information reporting that supports clients and the integrity of the financial system. You will apply deep technical expertise, strong operational discipline, and people leadership to improve data quality, strengthen controls, and execute critical year-end deliverables with confidence. Job responsibilities Serve as a key subject matter expert on FATCA, CRS, and U.S. Internal Revenue Code Chapters 3, 4, and 61 withholding and reporting obligations as they apply to a global custody business Demonstrate end-to-end knowledge of the tax reporting lifecycle, including data sourcing, validation, controls, issue management, reconciliations, and filing deliverables (e.g., Forms 1042-S/1042, the 1099 series, and global tax reports) Partner with stakeholders to ensure reporting processes are executed accurately, consistently, and on time Advise on documentation requirements, withholding determinations, and reporting obligations in accordance with applicable regulations and policies Optimize team capacity through proactive work planning and prioritization of key deliverables, balancing competing deadlines while escalating risks, bottlenecks, and resourcing needs in a timely manner Leverage intelligent automation (e.g., workflow automation, rules-based controls, and analytics) to maintain strong data hygiene and perform timely, accurate reconciliations, ensuring completeness, consistency, and audit-ready support Apply analytics and responsibly governed AI-enabled capabilities to identify anomalies, improve controls, and reduce manual work while maintaining appropriate oversight and documentation Required qualifications, capabilities and skills Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field 5+ years of tax experience with a strong focus on U.S. information reporting, withholding, FATCA, and CRS Strong technical knowledge of IRS requirements under Chapters 3, 4, and 61, with particular focus on year-end reporting requirements Demonstrated track record of leveraging intelligent automation to streamline and standardize processes, enhance control effectiveness, and reduce manual touchpoints through measurable outcomes Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Prior experience in financial services with specialization in global custody Advanced knowledge of automation and analytics tools such as Alteryx, Python, or similar platforms Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities for AI and automation integration within operational workflows, including experience evaluating, implementing, or governing AI-driven solutions to achieve scalable process improvements and strategic objectives
