Vice President- Head of Enterprise Risk Management

We are seeking an innovative and visionary Vice President of Enterprise Risk Management to join our Leadership team. This pivotal role will report directly to the Chief Legal Officer and is responsible for evolving the organization's approach to risk management and oversees our corporate insurance strategy. The ideal candidate will challenge conventional thinking and develop forward-looking strategies that safeguard our enterprise while enabling growth and innovation. The role serves as an active member of the Legal, Compliance, Audit, Risk and Sustainability (LCARS) Leadership Team, contributing to the management, strategic decisions, and development of the LCARS Team development. This role will be hybrid in our Jersey City, NJ location. Salary Range: $210-250K + Short Term Incentives + Long Term Incentives *Verisk does not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies for this position. At least 10 years' experience in senior risk management roles, with at least 5 at a senior level with a track record of transformative leadership. Expertise in risk assessment, mitigation, and regulatory compliance within complex organizations. Demonstrated ability to reimagine and overhaul conventional risk management approaches. Demonstrated experience engaging with the most Senior Leaders, including the judgment, presence, and communication style required to build confidence and credibility at the highest levels. Demonstrated history of championing and supporting innovative, technology‑enabled solutions that enhance enterprise risk capabilities Outstanding analytical, strategic thinking, and communication skills. Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in law, business, risk management, or related field strongly preferred. Ability to influence and inspire at all levels of the organization.
