What you’ll do: Project lead work across the design, delivery and tender phases for multi-year/packaged work for turnkey projects; Ensure timely and quality of delivery for project and structural engineering work in support of relevant technical, commercial and regulatory standards – and in alignment with schedules and budgets; Manage project scope, programme, budgets, and quality outcomes. Develop and maintain strong client relationships and identify new opportunities. Handle ongoing communication and highly effective professional relationships with local clients; Manage effective stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally; Provide sound technical/delivery guidance for the team; Mentor, train and develop the careers of junior engineers; Partner with internal stakeholders and a collaborative, national team in a multidisciplinary engineering setting. About You Bachelor to Masters’ level degree (Civil/Structural Engineering); CPENG qualified or close to completion Minimum 8-12 years post graduate industry experience Commercial experience in Australia or New Zealand on medium/large building structure engineering projects is essential. Exposure across a range of local building sectors, e.g., transport, metro, health, data centres, retail, defence; Familiar with ETABS, RAM Concept and Microstran Solid consultancy experience in a client facing role with ability to lead projects and manage clients Strong track record of effective cross-discipline project delivery and manage project teams Experience coaching & mentoring junior engineers across technical and project delivery aspects.
