This position is within WSP’s Mining & Metals division. This division provides a full range of services to mining operators, including all services offered in the field of engineering. The Metallurgist will work within a multidisciplinary team dedicated to planning and executing projects involving the construction of new infrastructure or the modification of existing works. To meet these growth challenges, WSP is currently seeking a candidate for the role of Senior Metallurgy engineer to join our Indian team located at Noida (UP). A bachelor’s degree in metallurgical or chemical engineering, or any other training considered equivalent; 8+ years of relevant experience Rigor, initiative, and attention to detail; Ability to work in a team; Excellent oral and written communication skills; Working knowledge of American and Canadian design codes and standards Working hours may require up to 4 hours of overlap with North American time zone, until 12:00 a.m. IST. Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation as well as working proficiency in French language is desirable and will be considered an asset.
