The Senior Fire Engineer will be part of the Fire Protection Engineering Team to serve as an expert technical consultant on fire safety, fire prevention, fire protection and life safety engineering issues for internal and external clients. The Fire Engineer will provide expert advice and perform highly advanced complex reviews of plans and specifications for fire protection planning, fire suppression, automatic sprinkler systems, life safety analysis and hazard analysis. Mechanical / Civils Degree from an accredited university or Fire Technology Degree from an accredited university of technology in fire safety. 8-12 years' experience in Fire Engineering as well as Consulting Engineering experience would be advantageous. Knowledge and experience in all local fire safety codes is key to carrying out code compliant fire safety designs.( (British Standards/Euro Code/NCC of Australia/NFPA) Knowledge and experience in other international codes and standards to carry out rational fire designs is also required. E.g. BS 9999, NFPA 101, BS 7974, IFEG, etc. BGV: Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
